Re-Opening Bristol Pilates Studio

Re-Opening Bristol Pilates Studio
20th July 2020 Elle Morrison
In News

It’s been a strange few months but at last we can see light at the end of the tunnel. After closing our doors back in March a fair bit has changed, some things hopefully for the better.

Here is what is going on:

We’ve moved!

Elle’s eagle-eyes spotted a premises become available on a Friday and by Saturday afternoon it was ours. We are now directly on North Street, opposite The Spotted Cow pub (conveniently) and have more space, facilities and far fewer stairs. The space has two toilets, a kitchen and a garden, as well as two studios both with their own entrances from the street. After being hidden away in Monarch House you can imagine how thrilled we are to be in the mix of everything on North Street.

Mat classes are now online

Due to social distancing regulations it just isn’t feasible for us to have mat classes in the studio at this time. We’re really hoping they’ll be back in some shape or form, but for 2020 at least they’re staying online. Luckily, lots of you have embraced the online classes and we really enjoy teaching them.

BPS Members

The previous page you all accessed our videos on is now for BPS members (current clients) only – this is because we’re going to be putting lots more useful content on there especially for our clients. If you can’t remember the password, just send us an email.

Studio opening is on it’s way

Gyms can officially open from July 25th and we know a lot of you are impatient to get back in the studio and on the apparatus. However, we’re sticking by our decision to stay closed until Term 4 starts in September. This will give us time to get all the safety measures in place and get us and the new studio ready to go. We’ll be in touch with all our 1:1 and studio class clients nearer the time and will keep everyone updated on what the studio can offer as time goes by.

COVID-19 protocols and commitments

To make sure that our clients and teaching team are kept safe while at the studio, we will be implementing some new safety and hygiene measures. Some of these may be temporary and others may be here to stay. We’ve outlined the details of our protocols and commitment to safety in this blog.

Once again, we really appreciate everyone’s support over the last few months and we’re very excited about the opportunity to take the studio in a new direction in our new home.
